Colors, I need colors ----- Farben, ich brauche Farben

And what could I paint after such a huge blck thing? Of course something bright with a lot of nice color! Like this one! (look above)

But before a small test on paper which has become very good and a work of art in itself! (look below)

Und was könnte ich nach so einem riesengroßen "Ding" in schwarz malen? Natürlich etwas schön helles mit viel schöner Farbe! Wie dies hier! (s. oben)

Aber vorher habe ich einen Test auf Papier gemacht was auch sehr gut geworden ist und ein Kunstwerk für sich! (s. unten)

I liked it so much, with all the shades, color transitions and patterns but something was missing to round it off.

Das hat mir so schon gut gefallen, mit all den Schattierungen, farblichen Übergängen und Mustern doch irgendetwas fehlte um es abzurunden.

First, some green was added as a nice contrast.
