With this painting I wanted to try soft transitions. It should be the background. When my daughter saw it, she asked me to keep it that way because she liked it so much. So it stayed.

Mit diesem Gemälde wollte ich weiche Übergänge ausprobieren. Es sollte der Hintergrund sein. Als meine Tochter es sah, bat sie mich, es so zu belassen, weil es ihr so sehr gefiel. Also blieb es.

  E - It's strange to write here knowing well that no one will read it. Ok, then it will just be my diary. When I started getting involved in art (I mean creating it myself) it came out of a very banal necessity. We had just moved in a new apartment, the apartment was huge, the huge white walls were bare. I wanted to make it nice and cozy, chic and interesting, but how do I get there? Of course there is a lot of beautiful, affordable art out there, but as I was browsing through the internet and looking at many paintings I thought... what? I can do THAT too! I know sounds familiar to you. Everyone thinks they can make art and then never does. Either some people even try, but see it is not as easy as it looks. Or you have the plan to start painting and then don't do it. Ok, I actually started. I bought canvases, brushes, paint and just got started. I didn't want to create works of art for the outside world at that time. No, I just needed something nice to decorate our new ap...

Red and dots ----- Rot und Punkte

The closer you get to the picture, the more beautiful and interesting it is. Any small area could be enlarged than a really great painting. I could take 1000 shots of them and each one is more beautiful than the other. Das hier ist so ein Beispiel einer Malrichtung, die mir sehr gut gefällt und die mir auch ziemlich gut gelingt. Je näher man dem Bild kommt, desto schöner und interessanter ist es. Jeder kleine Bereich könnte vergrößert als ein ganz tolles Gemälde sein.  Ich könnte 1000 Detailaufnahmen davon machen und jedes davon ist schöner als das andere.

Minimalism can look very nice ----- Minimalismus kann sehr schön aussehen

Acrylic on paper 20 x 30 cm Acryl auf Papier 20 x 30 cm Sometimes you paint a picture many hours and days, some even many weeks. This one was done in less than half an hour. I left it that way because .. there's a story about it. I had posted it on Instagram on my account @auroeta and a very dear follower asked me if I could send him the picture as a file, he would like it as his mobile phone background. I was really happy about that. And that's why I left it that way and did not continue to paint on it. ***** Manchmal malt man ein Bild viele Stunden und Tage, manche sogar viele Wochen. Dieses hier war in nicht mal einer halben Stunde fertig. Ich habe es so gelassen weil.. es gibt da eine Geschichte dazu.  Ich hatte es auf Instagram auf meinem Account @auroeta gepostet und ein sehr lieber Follower hat mich angeschrieben, ob ich ihm das Bild als Datei schicken könnte, er hätte es gerne als Handyhintergrund. Das hat mich wirklich sehr gefreut. Und deshalb ...
