What you can do with apps these days is incredible. It looks very complex, with minimal effort. Not much skill or imagination needed. It´s of course fun to play around and be amazed at the result, but I will only use digital editing as a break filler in between. My passion is clearly painting with acrylics. Was man mit Apps heutzutage alles machen kann ist unglaublich. Es sieht sehr aufwendig aus, mit minimalstem Aufwand. Hier nicht sehr viel Können oder Fantasie nötig.  Es ist natürlich lustig hier herumzuspielen und das Ergebnis zu betrachten, doch werde ich digitale Bearbeitung nur zwischendurch als Pausenfüller nutzen. Meine Leidenschaft liegt ganz klar beim Malen mit Acrylfarben. 

All of the following pictures are from this original painting  (see above) . How? Of course, nobody is painting them by hand anymore. They were all created digitally. Such a fun in between lets the imagination fly and grow. AND the result looks very nice. All die nachfolgenden Bilder sind aus diesem Originalbild (s. o.) entstanden. Wie? Natürlich malt die heute keiner mehr per Hand nach. Sie sind alle digital entstanden. Solch eine Spielerei zwischendurch macht Spaß und lässt die Fantasie fliegen und wachsen. UND das Ergebnis sieht sehr schön aus. 

Here I am again! I have neglected my blog for the past few months (almost a whole year.. shame on me!) and since I can spare some time right now, I would like to continue here. In addition to all the other 1000 activities that you still have to master in your life, it is very tiring to create blog posts. It takes a lot of time. And actually I just want to paint and this takes most of the time. When I started this blog, the plan was actually to document my painting progress. But also to capture everything I've ever painted. Unfortunately, I did not quite succeed because I have painted SO much in the past few months that I can no longer exactly sort the order. I already told you that I'm not very talented in painting people. That's why I chose a collage here and of course because I wanted to try something different. Acrylic with mixed media on paper 44,5 x 57 cm Every time I paint something, I show it to my husband and he always tells me honestly if he likes it. Well, he did not like this one so much. But among artists, pictures that are not common "nice" are more popular. Why it is like that? There are many explanations for this, but I think that this kind of painting is somehow "honest" rather than "trying" to paint a "beautiful" picture. A rough, uncomfortable beauty. Jedes Mal wenn ich etwas gemalt habe, zeige ich es meinem Mann und er sagt mir dann immer ehrlich ob es ihm gefällt. Nun, dies hier hat ihm nicht so gut gefallen. Doch unter Künstlern gefallen Bilder, die nicht üblich "schön" sind beliebter. Warum das so ist? Hier könnte man sehr viele Erklärungen dafür finden, doch ich denke, dass diese Art der Malerei irgendwie "ehrlicher" ist und nicht so "bemüht" einfach ein "schönes" Bild zu malen. Eine r...

The flower girl from the last blog post gave me a lot of pleasure, so I immediately afterwards painted one more. At the moment I can not understand how some artists can "produce" tens of the same / similar pictures. Of course, I know that most of them live on selling their paintings, and if a series is going well and can be sold very well, you have to paint a lot accordingly. I would also like to sell my pictures, but I do not like the MUST. Das Blumenmädchen vom letzten Blogpost hat mir viel Freude bereitet, deshalb habe ich danach gleich noch eins gemalt. Ich kann das momentan gar nicht nachvollziehen, wie manche Küstler zig der selben/ähnlichen Bilder "produzieren" können. Natürlich weiß ich, dass die meisten von ihnen vom Verkauf ihrer Bilder leben und wenn eine Serie gut läuft und sich sehr gut verkaufen lässt, dass man dementsprechend auch viele malen muss. Ich würde auch gerne meine Bilder verkaufen, doch das MUSS gefällt mir gar nicht.  ...

Actually, I had rather expected that it will be a frustrating, long way and I will not succeed the first 10 (or 20) attempts at all and I will paint for a while for the dustbin. But I am very glad that it turned out to my satisfaction immediately at the first attempt. Yippie! Und hier ist die Entwicklung meines Prototyps aus dem letzten Blogpost. Ich bin total überrascht, wie gut es geworden ist. Damit hatte ich gar nicht gerechnet. Eigentlich hatte ich eher erwartet, dass es ein frustrierender, langer Weg wird und es mir die ersten 10 (oder 20) Versuche überhaupt nicht gelingen wird und ich erstmal eine Weile für die Mülltonne malen werde. Doch ich bin sehr froh, dass es sofort beim ersten Versuch ganz zu meiner Zufriedenheit ausgefallen ist. Yippie! ...
