LONG TIME NOT SEEN

E - I haven't posted a new blog post in a very long time. It wasn't that I hadn't made new collages to show. It was more of a mixture between - nobody reads here anyway, I'm too lazy and very simple.. I forgot it out of sheer life!

Well, today I got the feeling that I had to write something. I don't think I said that here (or anywhere else on the internet), I had a small career (alongside my job as a draftsman) as a secretary. I have always loved writing on the computer. 90% of people see typing as something annoying but I've always really enjoyed writing.

But it's not just about writing anything. It should be readable and... it should add value and make sense!

Since I (as mentioned above) don't have the feeling that very many people will read this, I'm writing it all down here as a kind of diary. Just for me it is very exciting to read it again after months and years. You understand a lot of things, see them differently, it really helps me.

However, if anyone should find their way here after all, I hope that they find just as much joy.. and meaning.. in these photos and my words as I do!

DE - Ich habe schon sehr lange keinen neuen Blogpost eingestellt. Es war nicht so, dass ich keine neuen Collagen erstellt hatte, die ich zeigen könnte. Es war eher so eine Mischung zwischen - das liest hier sowieso keiner, ich bin zu faul und ganz simple.. ich habe es vor lauter Leben .. vergessen!

Nun überkam mich heute wieder so ein Gefühl, etwas schreiben zu müssen. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich das hier (oder sonst irgendwo im Internet) erzählt habe, ich hatte eine kleine Karriere (nebst meinem Beruf als Bauzeichnerin) als Sekretärin. Ich habe immer sehr, sehr gerne am Computer geschrieben. 90 % der Menschen sieht Schreiben als etwas Lästiges doch ich habe dieses Tippen auf den Tasten immer sehr genossen.

Doch es geht hier nicht nur darum einfach irgendetwas zu schreiben. Es sollte lesbar sein und ... es sollte Mehrwert und Sinn ergeben!

Da ich (wie oben schon einmal erwähnt) nicht das Gefühl habe, dass dies hier sehr viele Menschen lesen werden, schreibe ich das all hier nieder als eine Art Tagebuch. Nur so für mich. Es ist sehr spannend, es nach Monaten und Jahren noch einmal zu lesen. Man begreift viele Dinge, sieht sie anders, es hilft mir wirklich weiter.

Falls sich jedoch doch noch jemand hierher verirren sollte, hoffe ich, dass er an diesen Fotos und meinen Texten genau so viel Freude.. und Sinn.. findet wie ich!

The closer you get to the picture, the more beautiful and interesting it is. Any small area could be enlarged than a really great painting. I could take 1000 shots of them and each one is more beautiful than the other. Das hier ist so ein Beispiel einer Malrichtung, die mir sehr gut gefällt und die mir auch ziemlich gut gelingt. Je näher man dem Bild kommt, desto schöner und interessanter ist es. Jeder kleine Bereich könnte vergrößert als ein ganz tolles Gemälde sein.  Ich könnte 1000 Detailaufnahmen davon machen und jedes davon ist schöner als das andere.

.....::::: MAKING ART FOR MYSELF :::::.....

  E - It's strange to write here knowing well that no one will read it. Ok, then it will just be my diary. When I started getting involved in art (I mean creating it myself) it came out of a very banal necessity. We had just moved in a new apartment, the apartment was huge, the huge white walls were bare. I wanted to make it nice and cozy, chic and interesting, but how do I get there? Of course there is a lot of beautiful, affordable art out there, but as I was browsing through the internet and looking at many paintings I thought... what? I can do THAT too! I know sounds familiar to you. Everyone thinks they can make art and then never does. Either some people even try, but see it is not as easy as it looks. Or you have the plan to start painting and then don't do it. Ok, I actually started. I bought canvases, brushes, paint and just got started. I didn't want to create works of art for the outside world at that time. No, I just needed something nice to decorate our new ap

Back to my beloved white dots ----- Zurück zu meinen geliebten weißen Punkten

I'm always surprised how such small, harmless, white dots can completely change a picture. I love them! Here together with pink dots! Weiße Punkte auf bunten Untergründen sind MEIN geliebtes Thema! Ich bin immer wieder überrascht wie so kleine, harmlose, weiße Pünktchen ein Bild komplett verändern können. Ich liebe sie! Hier im Zusammenspiel mit Punkten in pink!
